Kindertown Family Guide: February
So far, our February has been filled with ice, snow and cold. In what seems like the first time ever, we even got two ‘ice’ days in a row, and could be in store for a few more this week! Being cooped up all day usually means a serious case of ‘cabin fever’, so to help you out, we’ve put together a list of events around #HamOnt that you and the family can explore once you manage to get out of the house and into the cold!
Date Night in the Neighborhood
Kindertown is teaming up with Valentino’s Restaurant and Cause&Effect Bar Kitchen and Bar to give parents a stress free Valentine’s evening. Kindertown will be offering child minding for the night, while our local restaurants serve as gracious hosts.

Seussical The Musical
Packed into one spectacular musical are some of Dr. Seuss’ most well-known and loved stories. All of the your favorite characters will be there, from Horton the Elephant to the Cat in the Hat!

Greg Frewin “Imagine” Tour
This is a Vegas-style show for the entire family! Greg Frewin is an internationally known magician that is bringing his Niagara show to Hamilton’s Mohawk College. Full of illusion, wonder and of course, magic, the Imagine Live show has a bit of something for everyone.

Preschool Puppet Playhouse
Spend Saturday morning at the Dundas Museum and Archives and take in a wonderful puppet performance of classic fairy tales. Along with the show, there will be a puppet making workshop and sing-a-longs that all have a unique connection to Dundas.

Hamilton Kids-Fest
On Family Day weekend, children bounce, slide, ride, craft, learn and laugh at Hamilton Kids-Fest. Kids-Fest is Canada’s largest inflatable festival, bringing a variety of fun and educational activities for children 12 and under. On top of the fabulous inflatables, Kids-Fest offers shows, interactive activities, games, crafts and more.

Hamilton Winterfest
Explore your city from February 1 to 18 with more than 100 events. Skate at the waterfront and local arenas, enjoy concerts, classes and a series of new Signature Events in major parks city-wide and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Fun for the whole family.
